Olivia is the Managing Director of Frafra, a British-Ghanaian handwoven basket wholesaler, and a freelance writer, reader and editor with published work including Phaidon's African Artists: From 1882 to Now (2021). Previously, Olivia was Head of Public Programming and Editorial at 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair for three years, leaving in December 2021. At 1-54, Olivia managed nine 1-54 Forum programmes in London, Marrakech, Paris and New York; copy-edited five catalogues; and established and produced the inaugural 1-54 Annual Book, which covered the fair's editions from 2020 to 2021. She has an MA in Contemporary African Art and Art Theory from SOAS and a BA in African Studies from the University of Birmingham. British-American, born in Nairobi.
